1. Data Controller
For the personal data collected through this website and the services I provide, the data controller is Caner Mutlu, who runs Mutlu Accounting on his own. You can reach me at info@mutluaccounting.com with any questions.
2. What Data I Collect
To provide my services, I typically collect: your full name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, BSN number, tax documents such as your Jaaropgave, and other documents directly relevant to the service you request.
3. Why I Use Your Data
Your data is used only to provide the service you request. This may include DigiD application and activation support, income tax and BTW returns, toeslagen, bookkeeping, ZZP/KvK support, guidance with opening a Dutch bank account, municipal BSN/BRP registration support, official correspondence, and related communication. Depending on the service, my legal bases are performance of our agreement, compliance with legal obligations, and, where necessary, your explicit consent.
4. Who I Share Your Data With
To perform the service you request, your data may be processed by the Belastingdienst, municipalities or other relevant Dutch authorities and by necessary service providers. Documents and communications may pass through your email provider and WhatsApp/Meta; website technical data may be processed by the hosting provider and Google Fonts. Your data is never sold or rented for advertising or marketing and is used only to the extent necessary for the service.
5. How Long I Keep Your Data
Your documents are kept for as long as needed to complete the service and to meet the statutory retention obligations under Dutch tax law, which can extend to several years after the relevant filing. Once the legal retention period ends, your data is deleted on request.
6. Security
WhatsApp message content is end-to-end encrypted; standard email is not always end-to-end encrypted. Before sending highly sensitive documents by email, please contact me so we can agree on a suitable sharing method. I keep documents with reasonable safeguards against unauthorized access and only for as long as necessary.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, to object to its processing, and to request a copy of it. You can exercise these rights by contacting me, and you can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
8. Cookies and Third-Party Services
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive technical data such as your IP address from your browser. The Tailwind stylesheet is served locally by this website and does not send data to Tailwind. The site does not use tracking cookies.
9. Changes
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
